LOCAL HISTORY SERVICES :: lending resource center | ||||||||||
A substantial lending library of reference and "how-to" materials is maintained by the LHS Department. The Center contains books, technical leaflets and videos on a variety of topics, including archives management, conservation, disaster planning, board development, museum management and much more. The purpose of the Center is to provide program and technical resources to organizations and individuals engaged in collecting, preserving, researching and/or interpreting Indiana's history. Eligible borrowers include historical societies, museums, libraries, genealogical groups, and Indiana Historical Society staff and board members. Search the database
